Dreamtime Theatre with Scot N. Moir

Live storytelling with one of our favourite playwrights! It's an incredibly captivating and unique experience for our day and age. Traditional storytelling is making a comeback, right here in Steinbach!

Shakespeare Night
Professional actors from across Manitoba will gather together to recite and perform some of Shakespeare's greatest scenes and speeches.

Broadway Night
We're going to bust out all our favourite Broadway hits and bring them to you live! Phantom, Les Mis, Hamilton, Wicked, Disney, and everything in between!

Originals Night
Yes!! Original music by Looking Glass Theatre (and past/present company members!) There will probably be a couple of these.

We've got an original musical to debut the music for 🤯...

And a few of our company members have EPs and singles which we can't wait to feature!

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge; a stingy old humbug who is visited by 3 ghosts on Christmas Eve. As he journeys through his past, present, and future, Scrooge's heart is softened towards his fellow man.

We've curated this adaptation with the whole family in mind. Kids and parents alike will be delighted and captivated by this up-close, live, theatrical experience! 

THE BELLEFONTAINE BRIDEGROOM

By Scot N. Moir (Treasure Island) 

 

Synopsis

From Scot N. Moir, the playwright of "Dietrich & Maria" and "Treasure Island" comes a story based on the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea...​

Piggy and Tiggy have been married for years. It's the classic thing where a man has fallen in love with an animate statue, and kept her in a glass box for hundreds of years, and everyone who comes into their home acts totally normal about it. 

 

Things take a surprising turn when another woman shows up at their door, and is followed by an investigator, on the hunt for a killer...​

What to expect

Audiences can expect to be delighted by this show. It's exceptionally funny. A bit odd. With a hint of murder mystery. And the ending is gonna get you right in the feels.​​

 

"The Bellefontaine Bridegroom" is the perfect night out for couples and friends, and is not recommended for children 12 and under.

MAID MARIAN

Synopsis

Maid Marian re-lives the adventures she shared with her beloved Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest.

A One-Woman Show  

Audiences will be treated to the incredible experience of a live, one-person show. Performed by Laura Kathleen Turner.

"Maid Marian" is recommended for adults and children alike.
